  1. Very creative and unusual build. I really like the lettering and your ability to capture the motion. It's all coming together and will be awesome when finished.
  2. Pretty sweet, that paint really accentuates the lines.
  3. I love it, awesome sculpting work. Looking forward to updates of the build.

I did run into some of the same things you did. The battery was a big one, I also had to remove a lot of material to make it fit. I kind of remember the drive shaft being short also but it has been a while since I dealt with it. I think when I lowered it I had to move the rear axle forward a little and I think that solved it. The only other problems I had were installing the steering column and side windows for some reason. I didn't run into the radiator support interfering with the fit of the hood like you did. Nice article, thanks for the link your version turned out great. Thanks everyone else for the positive comments.
  7. I've used a very diluted Tamiya buff for the windows with good results.
  8. Nice job, I really like the grease on the underside and the weathered wood in the bed.
  9. Nice restoration, I really like the color.

It's Dark Bronze Metallic from the MM custom lacquer system. Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm glad you like it.

My first build posted here. This is the Revell kit painted with Model Master spray cans. Not much done to it except ignition wires and lowering.
  13. I'm off to ebay to find a kit. Can anyone let me know what 56 T-Bird kit would be the best? Thanks for letting me participate in this, hope I can do it justice.
  14. I've lurked for a while and this project is too interesting to pass up. If there is still a spot open I'd like to participate. Jason mtncycl@hotmail.com
