  1. There You Go Getting All O/C Education On Us Again
  2. I'm With Led On This One, IMHO A Nice Bright Chrome Is The Best Base For Pearls. Silvers Work Too But The Chrome Just Seems To Give It More Depth And A Nice Pop
  3. Dirk: You're Brave. DJ-ing A Car Show With Such An Intimidating List Of Possible Songs To Play. Good Luck And More Power To You! I'm Surprised Nobody's Thought Of This One: "Riding With Private Malone" by David Ball. And Of Course There Are The One's That Have Been Said That Need To Be Said Again To Emphasize They're Importance: "Hot Rod Lincoln" "Sweet Caroline" "Highway To Hell" "Fun Fun Fun" etc... I Also Know Two Really Good Car Songs From A Guy Named Frankey Scott In Florida. "Model A Ford" and "Chopped Top Chevy", They're Rockabilly, And You Probably Can't Find Them On Limewire Or Anything Like That, But If You're Interested PM Me And I'll Send Them To You Somehow.
  4. I say it's Real. The background looks photoshopped to be fake.
  5. I've Heard Of The One In Pawtucket (Darlington Hobby) From A Friend Who Loved It When She Was Younger, She Just Can't Get There Now. Hopefully Me And Led Will Be Going Down There Soon. I'm Graced Enough To Have Hobby Shop Owners That Are Actually Into Modeling. I Think One Of The Best Shops I've Seen - When You Look At Diversity In What They Sell, Friendliness, And Interesting People Who Know What They're Talking About - May Be Harry's Hobbies & Collectables. They're Real Good To Me And Led As Well As (To My Knowledge) Everyone Else. They Give Us A Discount For All Our Support, And They're Some Nice People To Just Chat With. They Carry Everything I Can Think Of From Tamiya Paints And Model Masters To After Market Parts And Tools Galore!
  6. That Was You? That's Some Nice Work Man. I Like Those I Love His Shop Though. It's Probably The Shop That Kept Me Into Modeling Recently.
  7. I Think It's Time For Us Modelers To Show Our Appreciation And Love For Our LHS's. Where Do You Guys Get Your Stuff? Give Some Publicity And Appreciation To The LHS's That Give Us Our Fix. Personally, There Are Three That I Frequent, Hanson Hobby of Hanson, MA (Which Is Pretty Much A House Which Half Of Which Is A Hobby Shop), Harry's Hobbies & Collectables of Norton, MA Which Is One Of The Only Shops That Sells As Many Tools And Gadgets And Extras As ModelKits And Paints, And There Is My Personal Favorite J&J Diecast Collectables, It's A Small Place In The Back Of A Building Near A Police Station. Very Run Down And Hard To Find, But It's A Haven. And The Guy Will Even Let People Come To His House To Look Through His Stash Of Kits!! Thanks To All The LHS's For Keeping Our Hobby Alive. LDLD
  8. Well It Wasn't Today, Or Yesterday, But My Computer's Broke So This Is The First Chance I've Gotten To Post This. With My 50% Off Coupon At Michaels I Got A Badger175 Crescendo. And I Also Got The '71 Hemi Cuda That I'm Looking To Put A 528 "KingKong" In. (See My Thread In "Wanted!" If You Need To Know More Lol) Got A Few New Detail Brushes And Some Prismacolor Art Markers For Drawing Up Designs Too What Did Everyone Else Get With Their 50% Off Coups??
  9. ###### That Paint Is Gorgeous! Have Any More Recent Pics?
  10. Model. I Don't Know Why, But Something About It Says Model. It's A GREAT Build If It Is A Model, But It Just Doesn't Have The "Real" Thing For Me...
  11. Yes, We Are Very Nuts Indeed. But That's Never Stopped Us From Much Before, Now Has It? I Wish You Luck On Your Search. Mine's A Lot Easier Lol.
  12. Ooh! I'm With LedSled, Could You Get Some Pics Up, It Sounds Like Something I'd Love To Get For A Few Of Mine.
  13. Oh Yea, And Not Just The Funnies They Give Us! Haha, I Just Finished A Book Actually, And I'm Starting A New One Now. So Ha. How's The '81 Search Going?
  14. Oh No, I Have No Life, I Was Either Reading, Sleeping, Or On Myspace, Because I Am - After All - In High School. If It Was Past About 11 Then I Was On The Phone, But Other Than That My Life Narrows Down just a bit.
  15. Actually The First Time I've Had History In A While Was This Afternoon Lol. I Guess I Just Didn't See This One. And You're Right I Would Volunteer You For Something I Know You'd Volunteer For.
