Ford LNT 8000 Mixer

Recommended Posts

Here's some shots of my finished LNT 8000 mixer. its a combination of the Ford LN 8000 race hauler and the Paystar 5000 mixer with a resin 6v92T Detroit as well as resin wheels from AITM and some scratch built parts. excuse the mess as I took these pictures on the workbench because the lighting is better, well enough gabbing, here it is.

Thanks a lot guys! Clayton, it was supposed to be mud, but it turned out kinda light and the camera made it worse, but you live and learn! Jesse, this is the most detailed truck I've built yet, and my first time doing extensive scratch building, and I'm hooked, I can't wait to start my next one!

That is top workmanship there Sam well done . B)Were the door hinges hard to do ?

they weren't that hard to do, but holy cow were they ever tedious! I built those things probably 50 times between the four sets. And a little confession, somewhere between construction and paint even after reassembly to check the fit, the doors don't shut fully!!! But I will display it with doors open anyway so maybe next time.....scratch that I HIGHLY doubt that I'll open the doors on another L series.
