Mr. Metallic Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 Inspired by the cool buildups I've seen of this Jimmy Flintstone body I was inspired to build my own version, but I wanted to set it apart from all the other vintage hot rod styled builds, so here's mine. I drew inspiration from Barris update of the Chrisman Bros Model A salt flats car. I just loved the color scheme and details he added, so that's how I built mine. Colors are Tamiya Pearl White and Transparent Orange. Rear wheels are from the AMT Boyd Coddington '57 Chevy and the fronts are from the Revell Roth Outlaw. Side pipes are from the AMT Black Force and front suspension is part scratchbuilt, part AMT Prowler snap kit.
