  1. Here is what I have discovered in my self assessment. I have been building model cars since I was six years old. Watching the type of craftsmanship that you are putting into your builds makes me feel that I have not progressed one iota in my building techniques. I will post my current build for the rest of you to judge. I consider myself a life long learner (I actually have a PhD in adult education) so any constructive criticism will be taken as useful. Thank you my brothers and sisters, Mick
  2. I thought maybe this was a trick question!!
  3. When you do a radical top chop like this, where do you come by the rear window and windshield? Do you make them yourself or trim the existing one down to size? I have never had luck with either process.
  4. Hey folks (don't want to presume that only guys build models), my name is Mick and I am another new guy from Ohio. I found this site while looking for some help with a paint problem that I am having. I will post that somewhere else. Some of the builds that I have seen so far have been amazing! I have been building for almost 40 years but have never put the kind of detail in my models that I have seen on this site. Beautiful! I hope by talking to like minded people, I will be able to learn some of the tricks that I have been missing over the years. Mick
