  1. Hey Don. Nice work on this Auburn. Love all the little tips and tricks sprinkled in here and there. If you still need the Gold foil; I have a full sheet in my posession here at the house. I might even be persuaded to deliver. I'm not doing anything Tuesday until evening. Just in case, Larry Bowen
  2. Hey Brian aka monoped. Where are you at in Hernando? I live in Apache Shores. I am a member of FAST and also work at Rob's Hobby Shop. We should get together and compare notes. Larry Bowen aka Knucklehead
  3. That ride looks right. Love the wire wheels. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing and Have a great day, Larry
  4. Guys. I would be interested in finding other places that make parts for the 1/8 T as I just ordered one from my LHS. I know it's the latest reissue but I'll evaluate it when it gets here. One thing I know I would love to find for it is a 225 slant 6 engine and a torque flite trans. So if there are other manufacturers of parts for these 1/8 scales; PLEASE share. Thanks and have a great day,...........Larry
  5. I just found this topic while floating through some old stuff. Where was this held and do they plan to do it again this year? I sure would like to attend one or two of these events this year. Oh, and by the way, the Jeepster is one bad-*** ride, imho. Thanks and have a great day......Larry
  6. To Whom It May Concerne, Thanks for stayin on top of thimgs and getting us back on line in a timely manner. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Larry Bowen
  7. Could you guys and gals please check my registration account and see if there is some sort of problem? As of about an hour ago, I can no longer access the topics in the forums. I can access the forums and the topics lists. But when I go to view the content in ANY topic; I get a fatal error. Thank you, knucklehead larrybowen4185@yahoo.com
  8. Hey Jim. I don't know much about takin them to shows, but........How bout a shoe box sized Rubbermaid container with lid. Line the container with fiberfill or polyfiber and cover with a piece of saran wrap to keep the fiberfill from getiing caught on the models. Just a quick thought.
  9. Somebody already has knucklehead on the other model car site so I used something diff.
  10. That is one fine lookin' crown vic. Love the lines on the roof chop. And the paint is just kick butt. Give us more.....PLEASE.
  11. Clay. After a little research and just recieving a couple of gasser kits in the mail, I have decided to change my build to the AMT 1957 Chev Corvette Gasser. This gasser kit gives some options and I figure why the heck waist a beautiful car like the Merc on box art. That's not a bad thing. It's just that I had big plans for the Merc. Have a great eve
  12. I will be doing the Revell S/E '49 Merc. I wanted to do the Dark Red one; but I don't like decals. They make a model look cheesey imo. So I will be doing the Metalic Blue one instead. Thanks and have a great day.
  13. Clay. I have read your "allowables", ie plug wires and lowering. But I must ask, can we flock the carpet as long as it is done in the color in the instructions? Also, will you be wanting to know what kit we plan to build? Thanks
  14. Clay, I am just getting back into building again. My last build was 1967. So needless to say there is a lot of new technologies out there and I am having a ball relearning alot. Can a noobie get into your CBP? I think this would be a good learning process for me. If so; I am in.
  15. It's an old Chevy but I will probably put a Hemi in it. Thanks,
