smellyfatdude
Here's my final build of last year, a Jo-han ' 67 Ambassador hardtop. Long on my wish list, I finally was able to get one that was opened, but nearly mint. The only deviation from box stock was using the wheels and tires from an AMT Matador, and some engine parts from the SC/Rambler kit.

Lunajammer
Oh, that's a beauty. I think that's about as complete of a look at one of these as I've seen. Can't go wrong with those Matador wheels. I'd like to have a set cast. Hey, welcome to the dark side Darcy.

Lunajammer
Haven't seen the Gremlin yet. But now that you mention it...
smellyfatdude
I believe the wheels are the same. The ones in the ' 76 reissue look identical to me.
Monty
I'll never get to own one of these Ambassadors due to high costs and scarcity, but seeing this one built so nicely almost makes up for that.

Rob Hall
I love those Johan AMC kits. I have the common items ('69 AMX, Rebel Machine, S/C Rambler) but the more obscure items ('67-69 Ambassador, '69 Rebel, '68-70 Javelin) are all on my grail list... charlie8575
I love AMCs and that one looks great! I have one of those, too, and want to get to it sooner rather than later. Charlie Larkin
W-Machine
Now that's something that you won't see every day, either in scale or 1:1. Your Ambassador looks sweet 'n' clean.
TooOld
Beautiful ! AMC's get no respect and Matadors are on the bottom of the list , but I think they look great !
moparfarmer
Very nicely done on a rare model. SFD, didn't know you were Canadian from Saskatoon. Nice to see more Canucks on the board...
fury3
It's good to see an uncommon "flat box" Jo-Han kit built as nicely as you have done. These cars were unappreciated in model kit and 1.1 scale form. Again, it good to see you and your builds on this forum. Do you have any photos of the excellent detailing that you gave the interior to share with us? Fury3
