I am a boxstock builder and not good at custom work but I research and read. I found unless the surface your putting it on isn't prepped very well so It has something to stick to it eventually chips off. I did a frame where I didn't scuff the plastic and put the project away and dug it out a year plus later to find everything came off the frame.
