  1. The windshield installs from the inside. The instructions show it looks like it goes in from the outside, but the side note says inside. I heard about the glass issue so I test fitted mine. The trick to installing it appears to be that you first have to lose every last bit of your patience, and then it snaps right in. And I mean in. I thought I might not get it back out. No other problems the way I built mine. It went so well I had to screw up the paint job just to have something go wrong.
  2. You're welcome Lee , enjoy your trip. And Raoul these cats will give you a pungent punch in the nose.
  3. The Monogram funny car is a great kit. It's 1/24 scale but both chassis and track width are narrower than the 1/25 early revell kit. The bad news is I checked my stash. The mustang body was great the avenger was really good as well, but both my Oldsmobiles one red one white had the same little twist.
  4. Family Hobbies is your best bet. They are about 25-30 min. south east of downtown in Smyrna TN. Manly a RC store they have a room in the back for us kit guys. Good amount of kits,Tamiya paint, full evergreen tree, and other misc. goodies Philip's toy mart south west of town in Belle Meade sold kits and supplies, but it's been a couple years since I was there, and they needed a good restocking back then so call first. Then between them is Hudson's classic hobbies IIRC It's a hole in the wall hobby store-ish shop. Might not go out of my way to go there, but if your in the area it's worth a quick look, and you'll want to make it quick. (Cats)I haven't been there lately either so things might have changed. We have hobby lobbies all around the area. Can't really help with food. I don't go out much, and there are so many new restaurants popping up all over. Heck I never heard of Nashville Hot chicken until KFC did their commercial, and now it's everywhere. A quick note for you guys in east TN . Cookeville raceway and hobbies just steps away for TN tech campus.
