Neat stuff, nice job! Couple suggestions...the engine hoist is almost at the top of its limit, there's no way it can pull that motor (or set it in place). The cross bar with the chains going to the engine should almost touch the engine, so when you start lifting it will clear the radiator. Once you decide if this is your permanent layout you can add some traffic pattern weathering to the floor, maybe even a small amount of debris like antifreeze jugs, roll of paper towels, maybe a stack of cases of beer, whatever. I haven't done one in awhile but now you are motivating me to do another diorama!

Did it in several small sessions yesterday...snowblower is busted and its easier to shovel right now than try to fix it... Looking forward to Monday with a High of -13F or so.

Hello, I've been building various types of models off and on throughout my 50+ years. Over the recent New Years holiday I was looking around on the inTerWebs and found escalemodels.com and signed up. Then found this one...they seem eerily similar. Except when I joined here I had instant access, and over there I am still waiting for verification 3 days later. Without verification you can't view most of the pictures they posted...bummer! Currently working on finishing a WWII diorama I started about 7 years ago. Not historically accurate, but fun to build anyway. I've got a 5th Division Jeep and 7th Division soldiers, or something like that. But I'm having fun detailing the base. Here's something else I did awhile back...
