Hey all,

Im new to this forum, thought id share my current build.

1970 Chevy Nova, going for a pro street look with it.

motor plans will be a 427 lsx, tunnel rammed, efi, shot of nitrous and dry sumped.

still waiting on fittings and braided line and more parts for motor.

decided to chop the front end off and give it a go myself, im pretty happy with it so far, still alot more work left in it however.

next up i am going to tackle the rear end set up, unsure what to do there yet,

not doing a hell of alot to the body, just going to have a reverse cowl hood, considering putting a scoop ontop of the cowl, just need to find out how to make one yet, also add a parachute aswell.

let me know what you think,

thanks for looking.

Also any good sites to get 1/18 parts off?

And any good tutorials to building and forming styrene for hood scoops?

Cheers

Welcome to MCM.

Great start Brent. The scratch building looks very profesional.

1/18 parts can be hard to come by. I have a few on my site and have a few hundred parts cars.

Looking forward to seeing this build.

  • 2 weeks later...

so got a little done on the motor side of things, still awaiting more fittings and some parts like carbys,

decided to go the carby road instead of EFI,

the nitrous nozzles are in the runners and the distribution blocks for the nos/fuel have been made, just gotta do the small lines for them tomorrow night.

also done the fuel log and the pressure regulators upfront too, and the main feed run under the manifold back to fire wall..

thanks for looking.
