knarf
i'm working on an Audi R8 with top-fuel HEMI swapped in place of the measly stock 5.2l v8. other than the motor and all four tires and wheels this is a box stock build. biggest issue has been fitting them huge goodyear slicks on the rear. knarf
no pix of this one today as it very nearly got crushed yesterday! thid has benn fighting me since december 2010. the rear wheel tub are just so dam big i'm playin hell gettin them tucked up up in far enough to get my stance right. i didn't think it would be all that hard to do but i'm starting to think that the good people at Audi never ment for an r8 to have the engine and slicks from a top fuel dragster!?!? knarf
this build hasn't seen much progress lately:( the "tinwork" in the engine compartment is giving me fits(this build has almost been stomped on a dozen times so far)trying to work it all in there. i'm trying to go for a look that is as stock looking as possible.
