I think one could spend the rest of their days learning to control layers in that program... It's actually a lot easier than you think. I could teach you the basics of PS layers in less than an hour. Actually, learning the ABCs of PS isn't hard at all. What is confusing and daunting is the sheer number of different tools, effects, filters, and functions that PS offers. I've been using PS more or less every day for well over 20 years, and there are still functions that I either don't really understand, have rarely or ever used, or don't even know exist! PS has a hige amount of redunancy in it, which is one reason various processes are so complex and just ... sprawling... Not that that's a bad thing, actually, because each of us approach a problem from our own perspective and PS, at this point, offers various ways to "get you there". The variety of tools offers a pretty good chance that you'll encounter what you require, one way or another. What impressed me most about the reflections on the Jag was how they conform to the contour of the fender surfaces. Nicely done indeed! One of the things I used to teach myself was "Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Photographers" by Martin Evening (I've upgraded his book each time I upgraded PS, I started with PS-5).
