  1. Like always i looked at what i had done so far and changed my mind. I took off the start of the first bumper and fenders i had on there. It does not look like much right now but the ideas are flowing and it coming along ok.

  3. Here is some progress on the car hauler trailer part. I have it just about most of glued up and still need to build the rest of the ramps in the front. The truck part is going to be alittle work so i am saving that for later.
  4. I want to add this to my list and yes i am starting another one.I can't help it when i have an idea i go and work on it.I like to have a bunch of projects going so when you are waiting on something else you can work on another. I started out with a revell australian long nose kenworth and wanted to make a day cab out of it and stretch the frame because i love to do that. Here is what i was going for and what i have done so far. I am trying for something like this for the rear end.

  6. I do not do that but i would like to try someday. Plus it is all glued up.
  7. That is cool. Unfortunately i can only build inside i will not be able to paint till this new england winter is over to cold no place to paint. I geuss it gives me time to think about a paint scheme on all.
  8. Pretty much almost the entire truck exept the few aeromax parts out of the kit is scratchbuilt. The flames on all the parts are just thinner styrene plastic glued on top of the parts. The mud flaps are styrene too. I figure i was going to paint them anyway so make it out of plastic and overlap the flames to give it a 3D look. Ya the aeromax is my pride and joy. Alot of different versions in all the parts. That is just how i work. Don't say it is done till you like the end results.
  9. Per request i brought these pictures to this build thread and it is my pleasure too. I plan on outfitting this one with a completely scratchbuilt car hauler set up on the truck. This one is going to be my highlight show truck because i love this style cabover. Here is a 1/14th scale radio controlled aeromax i am building. I know that is not a model but it is a pretty big build. Well here is my addition i hope i did not take over the section enjoy the pics.
  10. I always go for the show look. It is the best way to go. No i did not plan on the wheelbase to be like this i just cut it and went by eye. I found out later about scale and size.
  11. I started out with the three wheeled peterbuilt wrecker and used that base model for a low fifthwheel car hauler truck. Also modified trailer to accomidate that low fifthwheel.
  12. I was always fascinated with stretched frame trucks. They have a real custom look to them that attracts me to the idea.
  13. Made some more progress on the motor and supercharger. Because the old iroc hood got drilled i had to fix it. This is what i got so far. I might add alittle around it to give it a bit of a lip or aerodynamics affect.
  14. I was looking at the five or six other models in the class and i thought to myself i don't know. They got through third and second i thought to myself i was done. The other models looked so good. Then they called my name for first place i was so exited. It was the first trophy that i won in my whole life. I had thought about it afterwards that i scratchbuilt alot of the model stretched the front of the frame. All the other models in the class were more box stock. Over all it was a good day for me. I am hoping that momentum will drive into my other projects.
  15. I love it so far great job. I am took that same model and making a stretched car hauler with a low fifth wheel for the trailer. Keep an eye out for it. I am going to watch this one alot.
