I'm assuming you have this kit, or plan on getting it...I would assume you can incorporate parts from a regular plastic kit into this one...I definately want to replace the tires with real rubber ones...Shame the hood doesnt open, but you never saw it open in the movie, so no biggie...I ordered this yesterday, and am really anxious to get it...So happy someone finally did an accurate complete kit of this truck...

Hi Craig, nice work on the trailer...I actually bought one of these snap-tite trailers with the idea of doing this same thing...Any chance you'll do a tutorial on your build?...Did you use the stock frame from the kit for this, or scratch build most of it?...Thanks... Matt

there was a 1/25th badger etched steel Mack set on Ebay couple days ago...Has the "mack" emblems, etc...Does anyone know of this set and somebody that carries them?...Thanks...Matt

Hey, I appreciate all the info dude...One other question, will a 1/25th cab and hood work with a 1/24th chassis (which is what the Mack Superliners are)...Or is there a big size difference in the two?...

flatbedkw, you mentioned the Revell superliner kits sleeper boxes as a good substitute for the "Duck" truck....Did Clint Freeman ever do a 60" sleeper and do you know if anyone carries them...Freeman's went out of business....Matt

Hi Mackinac....Thanks for the reply...I had seen Chris's truck before but couldnt find the pic in the archives...Basically, Im curious about the air hose set up behind the sleeper....btw, do you know a site that would carry things like hand rails and fifth wheel setup parts?...Ive been out of this hobby for awhile and alot of the sites I use to know Ive forgotten....Thanks for any info you may have....Matt
