carsntrucks4you
Hi I'm looking for dirt tires (with the square pattern) like the ones from American Racing Miniatures http://americanracingminiatures.com/?product=esca-6-125th-scale-early-50s-halibrand-dished-mags-with-dirt-tires but with out rims. I had check catalogs from Modelhaus and Replicas Miniatures of Maryland, but I could find them. Any idea where I can get them. I don't want to bore out the rims on the ARM's set. Thanks for your help
Art Anderson
The only separate 1950's style dirt track racing tires I've seen in model kits are the tires in the Revell Kurtis Midgets, but unfortunately those are on 12" rims, and as such are too small for most larger car installation. They are, however, a very reasonable representation of the dirt track racing tire pattern sold by Firestone back then. Art

I want to use them on a rod
