empinut
Here are the Rep and Min of Maryland 48 IDA carb bodies with the Studio 27 Velocity stacks. The resin stacks (which are actually the correct size) are also shown. I like the extra large size of the aluminum stacks. The base of the aluminum stacks fit perfectly in the hole manufactured in the resin carbs! Rep and Min supplies the Venturi tube brass...nice touch. The EMPI manifolds shown are from the various copies of the original 1/25 Revell 1968 Beetle/Convert. These manifolds are for a dual port and are the tall version of the manifold. These are located on the option tree molded with Revell's version if the IDA. I have cut off the carb body, but have not yet modified these to fit the more detailed resin carb body. You can add material on each side or carefully make a cut in the middle and spread the tubes carefully to make them fit. Add plastic to fill in your cut/open space and you are good to go.
