  1. Heres a shot of the show from one end. Pretty good turn out, I heard quite a few modelers talking shop and about building models when they were younger. Cant wait for the next one! LAters, Chun
  2. Your attention to detail is awesome! Beautiful work.
  3. Same here with the problem, Cant see what I am typing beyond a certain amount in the text box.
  4. Only plastic I got was a 71 Hemi Cuda REVELL kit at a recent club meeting. Today I got a gift card from BORDERS,shoes, pants, socks, stuff my wife thinks I need cause I'm blowin my dough of stuff I don't need. Last week I gave some money to my youngest daughter and she blew all of it the same day. I scolded her and asked her what she did with all of it. I found out today that she used it to buy me a present that same day. BAD DAD... Laters, Chun
  5. All the Revell Funny Car and dragster kits of the 70's, especially Jungle Jims vega, large and small scales. Monogram/Mattel Hot Wheels funnys and dragster kits.
  6. Looks excellent so far Curt! I have stalled out on my Hemi under glass... Waiting for some SLIXX decals to come in. Messin up on the painting of the body has prolonged the project. stay tuned...
  7. THANKS BOB!!!! The mountain is sure getting higher to climb with every post. Laters, Chun
  8. \ Bob, Very nice build! Yes it take a lot of work to get it accurate. All the areas that I was thinking about, you have addresed in your fine accurate build. Got a few questions: Wheres the engine/injectors from? Did you use a different front suspension from another kit? Did you use reference to create a different than the kit for driveline from the engine to the back wheels? Thanks Again, Chun
  9. Thanks everybody for all the posts! If this thread can help others with the Lil Red Wagon build then hijack away. Jus throw in some Hemi Under Glass tidbits along the way Thanks, Chun
  10. Heres another version of the kit? I bought this one for a dollar last year from our fearless leader Gregg at a monthly meeting. Not mint, do decals, painted body whole bunch of parts dunno if complete but buildable. Sometimes the nostalgia factor can make us overlook a lot of short comings of a kit. Those opening/closing doors were tricky to make them fit. Dont forget the 2 half tires... Laters, Chun
  11. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/stlouiscarmuse...from=&_ipg= Check here at EBAY motors. When they do have the car you need to research, EBAY posts have lots of photos in them. From the outside to inside. At this time I see only a 67 camaro convertible. There are some nice pics to look at that can give you some ideas. Jus gotta wait sometimes but sometimes theres a ton of good stuff. Laters Nitro
  12. Gee, with all this Lil' Red Wagon goodness maybe I outta switch to the Hemi Under Glass kit build? Gotta question for you drag guys, the HUG's kit engine has the magneto in the back of the blower and not mounted in the front is that correct or is it a optional thing? I see a lot of setups with it in the front and some located in the back, mostly on dragsters. Thanks for all the input, Red Wagon and all Chun
  13. Looks good on the build up, the SLixx sheet does have a lot of decals to fill your model up with. I forgot to mention that if you want to build the '69 cuda version that is all gold then find yourself some Fred Cady decals. He no longer makes them but you can check some hobby stores for back stock or EBAY for them. Laters, Chun
