Ranchwagon
We visited our son in Wisconsin in early December and he challenged me to build a model for a contest in Waukesha that he was entering and that coincided with our visit. This is a combination of the stock '40 kit which I had started much earlier and the flathead hopup parts and wheels and tires from the hot rod '40 kit. Since it's a hot rod, the door handles, etc. are shaved (fewer parts to install!) Paint isn't the best and the stance is too high all around but I got it done and best of all I had a great time going to the contest and swap meet with my son! crazyjim
Looks good to me. More importantly, sounds like the bonding experience was worth it.
charlie8575
I'd say that came out very nicely. This is a very nice mild custom. Charlie Larkin
