cobra
An interesting question came up at yesterday's club meeting and no one had the answer. Polar Lights did 3 basic funny car kits, a Cuda, a Charger and a Mustang. Are the chassis in each of them the same or are they different to suit the indiviual bodies, such as wheelbase, engine or seat location, etc? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks. gtx6970
I can only answer the Mopar side of it as I have yet to start or even open a mustang version. As far as chassis - powertrains ,,, I beleve they are 100% the same thing kit, just different bodies and interior tin work ps, isn't the mustang version a Cammer powerplant ? cobra
"ps, isn't the mustang version a Cammer powerplant ?" Yes, it is, just one more reason I wondered if the chassis were different. Also, while we're on the subject, does anyone know if the rumored Tommy Grove Mustang will ever be released?
