On one hand, there appears to be two diff. sources of light... the first, and most obvious, is the natural light from the horizon far off to the left. And yet, the front of that blower sure looks illuminated. A good photographer would use reflective light bounce. So, I will go with... By brother-in-law is a profesional photographer who has done automotive work most of his career, and I see some of the hallmarks of his tradecraft in the photo work here.
