disabled modeler
i've always been leery of anyone who tells me how much they know Yes... What is their purpose?....Why would one need to? Me I know a little about some things and am a expert in nothing....
Ace-Garageguy
Yes... What is their purpose?....Why would one need to? Occasionally, when one is trying to help someone who's seeking technical advice, and one gives a correct, concise, carefully considered and carefully worded answer based on education in the subject as well as a lifetime of personal hands-on experience, and the one who asked the question is confused by a deluge of "opinions" from people who might have "heard" somewhere or "knew someone who did such and such", it can be helpful to state one's qualifications for providing a correct answer. disabled modeler
Bill that is true but some go on like there trying to sell you something. Knowledge from others is priceless and experience is the best teacher with a little help from others...I learn something new everyday form others. I have had to deal with too many that were very very book smart but when faced with the real thing were lost...kind of makes one a bit leery of them....no one can know everything but many have much to share.
