Aeroteto
Hi all I see a 53 Ford Victoria from Lindberg at my LHS, not very expensive so muy question is it`s worth to buy it and build it? Or better buy the 70 Chevelle next to it?
bigphoto
Buy the Ford!!! Go Ford!!! Oh it is ultimately your decision though do you want a muscle car or a classic?

DrGlueblob
That is one of Lindberg's better kits, fun to build. I have several.
Joker
I've never shown this one.(old build) It builds into a nice Kustom and the engine is crisp. oh yeah...I was trying out scallop paint work..liked the pattern but not the finish. Paint polishing ? Meh..
my80malibu
I have never built one. I have a few of them. I have seen them looking killer, when they are built. I have not heard anything bad, or what difficulties the kit has.
Joe Handley
Only thing I can think that's bad about those kits is that we don't have one at work or that I could afford it right now if we did! slusher
I have never owned that kit but have seen some nice ones fellow builders have done..
charlie8575
Beautiful kit. Mine (first issue) had some of the best molding quality I've run across. Overall level of detail, etc. is on-par with late 1990s AMT kits, very accurate from the looks of it, very nicely done. I need about another half-dozen for all the resin I want to build... Kit Basher
The Ford is a nice kit, cleanly molded and well detailed. It fits together well and gives a good result.

ZTony8
If the Chevelle is the Monogram/Revell kit, skip it.If it's the AMT version it's much better. The Ford's a good kit(and I'm a GM favoring guy).

1972coronet
1953 is signifigant in the realm of automotive history regarding Ford , as that was the last year for their L-Head ("Flat Head") engine , at least in their V8 line . So , at a minimum , it is an interesting topic historically , assuming that you are going to build it in factory-stock guise . If not , it is still a really nice design to work with .
