TooShea
I am new to building car models. Today I started to spray paint the body of my 67 Chevelle SS and I think I was spraying to close to my model because the paint ran on one side. I let it dry completely then took a small nail file and sanded it down. Spray painted again and it came out great. Does anyone have any tricks of the trade they would like to share so I won't make this mistake again?
sjordan2
I'll say it before someone else moves your question and you can't find it (they won't tell you it's been moved) - move this post to the Modeling Q&A forum, further down the main page... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showforum=
JollySipper
Hi.... usually you will want to start out with light mist coats followed by a slightly heavier color coat... also, try to find something you can practice your technique on.... Sounds like you handled it pretty well, though....hope this helps
