djway3474
MPC Mustang. I nominate this kit for one of the worst ever. No two pieces went together without fit issues. I had to add plastic and grind the hood to just get close. Major grinding on the chassis and interior tub just so the body could barely fit over the chassis and on and on and on........ Tamiy Brilliant blue with urethane clear. I drew up the decals to belong to the Mustang Race Club of America. Scratched out the front half of the roll cage A genuine POC with this one. trogdor
It may have been a bad kit, but you certainly finished it well.
oldscool
You know, in spite of its problems it makes a more accurate looking Mustang than the Revell kit as far as the body is concerned. You did a great job of building it. This is what is known as polishing a turd. Is that a bad word? Not really sure. oldscool Edited January 19, 2010 by oldscool
Randy Kern
Looks great to me! I like anything Trans Am, especially a '69 Mustang. Are the Minilites from a kit or aftermarket?
djway3474
The kit had been started and I really don't remember where the wheels came from but I think this kit did have them. This is what happens when you finish a car a couple of years after you start it LOL.
