I have been following this build from the beginning, Randy do me a favour please and sand down the inner surface of the wheel lip on the front. The rim sticks out way too much and it looks like a cheap China toy. Don't let a detail like that ruin this perfect build.

Hi Pete, Thank you for the kind words !!!! From my side I will be dam glad to actually finish this one :D:D

Adam, The tires and rims are used for mockup only. This one really needs some cool ones but still haven't come up with the final solution !

Applause, cheers, waving bic lighters in unison, throwing roses at the stage and other assorted fanfare :D

This is most incredible. And to think I cant even pull off a decent set of homebuilt grab irons....

WOW. You are setting an incredibly high mark.

Keep it up. Very, very impressive and inspiring to this glue bomber and bird turd solder junky.

Peace.

Hi Folks,

Thanks Eric !!

Jesse, Glad you like it.

Thank you Tom !

Terry, Thanks and the diamond plate came from Model Car Garage. It was the only scale plate I had found that I could solder. It is nickel silver, the others were plastic or stainless.

Thanks Dan !!

Hey Tyrone, appreciate it :)

update....

I wanted a different style of boom , not the usual Holmes set up, and found inspiration in an old time steam crane. It gives me that low swept back style I was looking for.....
