Jeff Johnston
This is the Mairi (TilT) kit from the 80's. The doors cut out and the door hinges open as part of the kit. Pretty much curbside, but IMHO its the best Pantera kit out there. I gotta try to score another one. It kills me that this mold is "somewhere". Has not been release again since to my knowledge. MonoPed
How does the rest of the kit compare to the old Testors/Gunze(?) Panteras?
Zoom Zoom
I have one of these kits, and Brian Venable has built one and did a superb job on it. It's by far the best stock Pantera, and I'd like to see it reissued. The guts seem better than the Testors/Gunze version; back then all of them were capable of being motorized, but this one really looks right-the Campagnolo wheels are also very well rendered. The doors are made to easily cut out, or leave in place. Got mine from Ebay a few years back for a fairly good price.
Custom Hearse
Years ago, I had a 1/16th scale pantera kit, that had a clear body on it. For the life of me, I can't remember who produced it. I wish I still had it.....
