Petetrucker07
I only know the Ca Hauler, '69. But what are the rest of the reissues that available now? The IH 4300 too.

Chuck Most
I can only "date" two of them off the top of my head- The C600s depict '71-'73 models- they went to a wider wheel opening ("flare" for want of a better term) for '74. I'm told the White Road Boss and White Western Star, going by the door handle design, are no newer than 1971- they went to a push-button type door handle beginning in 1972. Aaronw
The Louisville would be somewhere 1970-74. The trucks were introduced in '70 and the V200 (CAT 1150) diesel that is in the kit was replaced by the similar V636 (CAT 3208) in 1975. Russell C
From this page 48 of the old March 1971 Model Car Science magazine, the late Lou Kroack puts release dates on several of the AMT truck kits, as part of his article on the tour of the AMT plant. It takes a while to rummage through the rest of the MCS magazines at this guy's site, but in those various magazines, we can see the ads for new model releases. I forget which one had the Diamond Reo and others, but they are in there as ads or as announcements in Kroack's "Model Truck Corner" in the '71 and '72 issues. There's a few how-to articles for trucks in the Car Model mag scans as well. *sigh* Those mags were just a bit before my time, but not by much. Seems like it wasn't all that long ago. Force
Here is a good site with AMT release dates, I don't know how accurate it is but it's in the "ballpark". If you browse the website you find most of the other manufacturers too. http://www.eddylenders.nl/amt-ertl-matchbox.htm Edited January 8, 2015 by Force
Russell C
Found 1 1/4 pages of mostly AMT truck kit announcements in the May 1971 Car Model mag starting at the bottom of pg 42, but it begins with the never-produced IMC Dodge LVT-1000 cabover that was mentioned by Tim Boyd in his modelcarsmag post here. farmallgray
The IH 4300 looks like it can be from 79-83. The 78s had round headlight bezels and the 84s had rectangular headlights. The kit has square bezels and round bulbs so it falls in between the changes.
