farmallgray
With the upcoming reissue of the Mack DM600 I was wondering if it would be fairly easy to convert one to a centered cab like an R model. Or are there other major differences besides the offset of the cab?

GLMFAA1
Has anyone taken the metal hood and radiator from the MPC DM and matched it to the AMT R Mack? greg
Bennyg
You could stick a replacement cab in the chassis from AITM. Ben
Superpeterbilt
Has anyone taken the metal hood and radiator from the MPC DM and matched it to the AMT R Mack? greg I did this years ago to build a RD600. The hood will have to be sectioned at the cowl as it is wider than the R hood. The ends of the fenders at the cab will have to be scratch built. I plan on making a RD 800 cab conversion(just the cab) if the DM 800 gets reissued, because I just dont like the offset cab. Aitm offers the whole conversion, but thats too costly to buy to build multiple kits. Im sitting on a bunch of DMs that I want to convert to RDs.
