Casey429
I want to paint some resin parts with duplicolor chrome. From what I've seen, it's pretty close to Alclad, which is good considering I don't have an airbrush. My question is, how do I clean and prep the resin to be chrome painted? paulcolt
i would just make it as SMOOTH as possible, just as if you were gonna send it out to be plated.HTH
ismaelg
Hi, Three easy steps: 1) Make sure the part is at least 10 miles away from any grease, wax, dirt or any other foreign material. In other words: squeaky clean 2) Don't stop at sanding it smooth. Polish it! Any small imperfection, sanding line or flaw will be amplified at least 10 times. 3) Take it easy and don't rush it 4) Have fun! Thanks,
kod38
I would shoot it over gloss black. Doug R
