Need Your Input

Recommended Posts

Hello Fellow Model Car Builders,

I have, on my web site. a "DENCON Scale Resin Specialties" Information Board. On there I have some polls set up that I am taking to see if there is any interest in some of my up coming resin body kits. Please take a look and take the poll. It is a simple Yes, No. If you look, PLEASE VOTE. If you do not like the idea. Please vote NO. That is better then not voting at all. It is all anonymous voting. I get allot of people looking and not voting and this does not help me at all. You do not have to sign up or join anything. I just need the input.

Model Builders, like you, are a big part of DENCON putting out the product that we do. Most everything that DENCON does is from suggestions from the Model Car Building Community.

Thanks for your Time and Input.

Matt

It says I have to be logged in to vote, maybe I'm missing a step somewhere?

Thanks Aaron. I will look into that. I wanted it to be open to anyone. Maybe it will not allow that. You can post your opinion without logging on.

Thanks

Matt

As far as the 70 Javelin , we already have 99% of the parts either in rubber or clay & have already seriously UPGRADED the ole' kits tooling for BOTH the T/A version ( complete w/ our signature correct Minilite wheels )

This may be abit off topic but have you thought about producing some tuner car parts?

Civics, Imprezas, Lancers, Mini ect

I personaly would really like a resin body of my 1:1 car, a MG ZR MK1.

I have, but I am not in much of the know of the Tuner stuff. If I had masters. I would look into doing that stuff. But I have to have something to make the mold from. I have always thought that there was a market for that stuff, but I just do not know what would be popular or not. So I just do not go there at this time. Does not mean I will never do it. Just have to see what opportunities pop up for it to happen.

Thanks for your input.

I would like to suggest an 81' thru 87' Pontiac Grand Prix.

The front and rear bumpers can be gotten off the Petty or Earnhart kits. The body just needs to be modified in the front fender areas.

I'd like one of those, too. I always thought next to the Cutlass, they were the best-looking G-body.

I love the ideas of the Volare and the Corvairs. Like others on here, it asked me join to vote. So let me also say...

'77 Volare - Yes

'70 Javelin (any Javelin - yes)

'70 Firebird - eh, I guess that means no

'64 or '67 Corvair - Yes to both

'71 Vega - Yes

Complete Kits - Yes, with option to buy individual parts

'75-'76 Duster body - Yes, with extremely thinned out fenders for the Feather Lite option :^P

Oh and a big yes on that '64-'65 Studebaker Daytona you're working on...

The Corvair would be neat but how about a '65/65 Valiant or Dart Signet hardtop? Or a late '60's Dodge Swinger hardtop? Or a GOOD 1967-72 Ford half ton long AND short box? It would be easy to offer either option for you as you sell your kits in individual pieces which by the way, is an EXCELLENT idea!
