W-409
Well this is going to be interesting! Your projects are always very nice to watch and follow, and when this is based on Dragster, it'll be super interesting. Looks good already, that Roarin' Rail Dragster kit would be pretty cool to have on my bench too.
Ira
AA/MR BODYWORK: After some cutting and fitting I got a great fit and glued the body parts together. I also removed the Quick Change Rear End... Edited February 21, 2012 by Ira

Ira
AA/MR BODYWORK: I wanted to flatten out the top/rear edge and also flatten out the backside curve of the body. So I extended the cut out lines from the pick up bed. Edited February 21, 2012 by Ira
Ira
MORE AA/MR BODYWORK: I cut out the area with a Cut-Off Wheel in a Dremel Tool. Edited February 21, 2012 by Ira
Ira
AA/MR BODYWORK: Next I traced the area on to some sheet plastic and cut the piece out. Glued it in place with Zap-A-Gap Green Label then I used Testors Red Label Glue and attached plastic braces inside the body. Ira
WE NEED BIGGER SLICKS!!! I added a 3/16" piece of strip plastic to the center of each Roarin' Rail Slick. Then smoothed them out with a foam file board. A little putty and some more sanding and they will be ready for paint!
