Ira
WHERE IS HIS HELMET? My wife Dolores gave me this container, it held nylon stockings. The plastic toy containers in gumball machines would probably work too. I cut an opening just about wide enough for the Finks Head... Ira
REALLY BIG HELMET!!! I added a length of half round plastic strip around the opening and sprayed on primer/filler. I did some test fitting and decided that the Helmet & Fink Head were too large. I laid 2 strips of 1/4" masking tape on the helmet, one from front to back, the other from side to side. I traced the 2 lines, removed the tape and cut the 2 pieces out of the helmet. Then I glued the 4 sections back together. This should be the perfect size... But I do have a question, I grew up in the 70's (born in 67) but was never really into the whole "fink" thing can you provide us with a little history on "Rat fink"? bobthehobbyguy
Ira, Reminds me of the old video game pacman characters before you put the helmet on. However he's got a mean look on his face. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one. bobthehobbyguy

Ira
DON the SNAKE FINK!!! The Monster has a Name, it's "Don the SNAKE-FINK"! I sprayed Don with Duplicolor Primer/Filler and added a litle more putty. I carved Don's Head to fit the New Smaller Helmet, did some sanding and applied more Primer/Filler. Ira
Modified Roadster Bodywork: I found a 24th scale Turtle Deck in the Monogram Stinger Dragster kit! It was a pretty close fit, only needed a couple of plastic strips to shim up the sides. I added a bottom made from sheet plastic.
Ira
More AA/MR BODYWORK: I smoothed down the Turtle Deck and attached it in the same position as the original. Here is the Profile...
