  1. Yes I did. He answers my e-mails and claims he shipped (again?) nov. 17th. I still have never recieved any of the goods I ordered (and payed) in April 2011. I actually trust he did send my goods. :/ Somehow I got the impression that he wants to do the right thing, but as I said -> no goods here. Sent him an e-mail this morning and got a refund to my PayPal-account few hours later. Case closed, no hard feelings.

    '69 Chevy Nova

Thanks again everyone! Nova actually isn't that shiny in real life. Which is good imo, since I think too much shine is not realistic. What is the perfect scale-shine? I'm still working with my techniques to create a decent rusty-look, but I have not succeeded yet. It's so much easier to do the shiny one... I'll keep paarctising and hopefully some day end up with something i can post here.

Thanks Rusty and everyone else. I'm a perfectionist and it does bother me when I build. I just can not build as flawlessly as I want to. With this paintjob, the thin Aizu tape I used for the this line, leaked a bit, so I'm not happy. Wide Tamiya tape did it's job. I guess I just wasn't pushing the thinner tape in hard enough... I'll try to do the next one better.
  4. Thank you for all the comments everyone. Since I don't have time or money to build my dreams cars in 1:1, I'll do my best in 1:25, heh. Every kit I build, I try to build as I think it should be built in real life. I'm glad you like it. I could still use some constructive criticism on my modeling techniques, since I do try to improve with every kit I build and I know I have a long way to go...

Thank you all for the kind words. As you can tell from this and the other cars I posted, I love sleepers Steelies and dog dish caps are the way to go for me... I'm a motorhead and very much into older american cars (especially muscle cars). I do try to attend every show, meet, swap and drag event held nearby. I guess my current "hobby car" tells you more. This is my current 1:1 pride and joy Originally 6 + manual, swapped in a lame 305/350 combo few years ago, but I do have that 400hp killer sbc in the garage waiting for some more parts and assembly. Then we have a sleeper... lol Yes, I do have few Jimmy Flintstone '72 ElCamino bodies in my stash as well as few amt '72 Chevelle and amt '68 Camino kits as donors. Will build them as soon as feel I'm good enough. My previous US car was not a sleeper though (but it did have steelies...) Yes, I do have few amt B/M Camaro kits as well waiting...
  6. Thanks for the info. Heh, I got an e-mail from him soon after I posted here. I'll give him few more weeks to sort this out. Mistakes do happen and I do believe in giving people a chance to correct them, I'm very patient but it won't last forever.

Thanks Jim, I just added my last name, thanks for pointing that out (I did read instructions, but forgot last name) Sorry about the bad pics. :/ I'll try to take new ones if I ever find the time to do it (family, house, work, 1:1 cars....)

An old AMT kit that I bought as a built junk only because I had built a similar kit as a kid some 20 years ago. Thought it wasn't that bad so i disassembled it and stripped the paint. I wanted to use this "worthless" kit as a test bench for my first ever two tone paint job. Didn't work out as good as I hoped for, but will do for a rescued junk kit. Engine wired and plumbed (also MCG wire looms to sort out the ignition wires). Aluminium air cleaner. Wheels and tires from parts box. Also flocked the floor (and failed miserably)...
  9. This is actually the second model kit I finished after my 15 year break from modelling. I's a Revell "Special Edition" kit, with rear tires from AMT 70 1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro. Engine wired and plumbed + throttle linkage from MCG. MCG seatbelt clips and seat belts made from Tamiya masking tape. Sorry about the color. British racing green...
  10. Revell "California Wheels" Chevelle Wagon. Resin tires from "The Parts Box", wheels from my parts box (AMT '69 Chevelle I guess?), Morgan pre-wired distributor. Lowered the suspension as much as possible without cutting rear inner wheel wells. Everything else box stock.
  11. Hi there! I have been reading this forum for few years now, but since this is the first model I post here, I'll briefly tell you who i am. I'm 38 year old man from Finland and I did build dozens of model cars as a teen in 80's and 90's. Then I took a 15 year break from hobby because of other hobbies (1:1 cars etc.) Started again few years ago. This Dart is Revell's Mr'Norms Dart. Mostly box stock, but with aluminium air cleaner, Morgans pre-wired distributor, tires from AMT '66 Cutlass and wheels + hubcaps from Revell '68 Charger
  12. Has anyone got any responce from Jeff recently? I orderer (and payed) some stuff from him in April 2011. Still no goods or refund... After few emails that I sent, I finally got one email (in August 2011) from him about him being injured and behind on orders and shipping my goods next weekend... Surprise - No goods, no refund.... After that he has not replied to any of my mails. Is he still in business?
