Chuck Most
It's an older reissue of a 1:48 scale kit from the late '50's. So while it might be good to go in with low expectations, it's actually pretty good all things considered. These are all the parts- the White 3000 tractor with its multi-piece cab and full interior, and the Fruehauf tanker trailer. No vinyl parts, no plated parts and no clear parts- like all the old 1:48 Revell kits from this period, if you want windows, you make your own. Yes, there's an engine- looks to be the White 477 Mustang six-cylinder gas engine. Chassis has the springs and fifth whe molded in place. The front of the cab has the lights and bumper molded in place, but it also has very nice White script. Decals for tractor and trailer... And the Champion billboard. One side of the instruction sheet, showing the assembly sequence. And the other- featuring historical data on the tractor and trailer, and showing some of the other early Revell kits. Casey
I bought this one when it was reissued as part of the SSP in the early '90s(?), and I was surprised how well detailed it is for the small scale. My only wish was that the cab was one piece, so that the interior floor could be installed before the front cab wall, but IIRC that's not possible with the way the kit is designed. It's a neat little kit, though.
lapazleo
Builds up real nice considering it's age.
1930fordpickup
That is a nice truck and trailer combo. Would be even better in a larger scale.
Mackvision
This is a neat little kit, with a little extra time and detailing,it builds into a very presentable truck in my opinion. The Revell Kenworths from the same era are also nice with time and effort...............................Mark

Casey
Atlantis is reissuing this 1/48 scale kit within the next month or so, but this time with Sinclair markings (assuming water slide decals) and new box art to match:

leafsprings
Looks like the trailer used in the Duel movie, could definitely useĀ in 1/25 scale!
stavanzer
That would look great setting next to a 1/48 F-86 Sabre or F-89 Scorpion. The USAF used these to Fuel airplanes back in the day. Hardest part would be finding USAF Strata Blue paint. You could stretch the timeline even to early Vietnam Era builds. The USAF would keep their ground equipment a very long time. In 1985 we had a Clark Tow Tug that had been built in 1964.
