SpikeSchumacher
Okay, at the point of installing the chassis to the body I have run into a HUGE problem with it seating properly in the front. I can't see where the inteference is coming from & the interior tub is securely glued into the body. But the front splash pan sticks out a mile below the chin spoiler. If I apply copious amounts of pressure it will line up, but I don't want to clamp the body & ruin the paint (black, of course) Anybody run into this with this kit? Suggestions...? TIA
mrmike
It sounds to me like you have the rear of the chassis above the license plate indent instead of below it.Try repositioning the chassis as you insert it into the body.

espo
Hi Mathias, The front splash pan should be installed after the chassis, unless that is how you did it anyway. This is infact how it is on the 1:1 car. We have a '10 Charger RT with allwheel drive. The bottom of this car is very smooth compared to most vehicles. But the front splash pan, which is a hard plastic, protects both the steering rack and the oil pan. Hope this helps.
