Scalper
Hello, I got this kit from the club show in Sunday.. Only paid 3 bucks for it from a fellow member. Got a lot done on it so far.. parts count is low. This is what i did so far, Thanks for looking.
Jantrix
In my opinion this is a pretty versatile kit. You can do a lot with it. 1/24 scale is tough but there are engine options that will help fill that engine bay and most oversized wheel/tire combos look right at home there. I like what you've done so far.

Scalper
Thanks Rob and Carl. Yup tons of extra parts on this kit.. built it when I was a kid too. all jacked up at the back.. started working on the tail lights last night. and glued the rad in.. this kit builds pretty fast. hope to get more done tonight. Scalper
Finished the taillights. I think my way will work.. Against the rear the black lines will appear. All comments welcomed. Thanks for looking.
Scalper
Got the back end done. about to start the front,., tell me what you think? Thanks for looking
bogger44
Taillights look pretty good to me, Andre. The ones in the Camaro I just finished were clear, I painted the backs of the lenses red & yellow (left the back-up lights clear) as well as painting the bezels silver. She's looking sharp and tough in black, keep up the great work!
Curt
Thumbs up, Andre! I like what you've done so far...
Jantrix
I have a question? for the tail lights. mine are molded tinted black.. how did you guys do yours. Well I sorta cheated on mine. Since it's a custom, I had no issues at all with just whipping some ruby red on them and calling it done. I think you did a very good job on yours. jsc
Tail lights look spot on to me. Did you build this kit from the beginning? Or was it already started?
Scalper
Thanks guys, John.. the kit was partialy started. Body was painted. and chassis . engine assembled. looks like who ever painted the body did a half decent job.. there is some imperfections in it.. but to me it was good enough.. I painted the engine. and I went together pretty fast. no panel lines to do and no BMF Maybe I should fininsh my 69 Camaro when this one is done. probably tonight. Scalper
I just noticed that I might have to take the front end off and try to place it properly. any one else had issue with the fron clip?
Brizio
Thanks man... I thought there was black trim bettwen the lenses. spoiler looks massive from close up . You are welcome. The black trim I think was used on the 3rd generation... Is pretty big the spoiler, but help to give in my opinion a nice rear end, I hate the Berlinetta without. About the front end, I don't remember, I build my Z28 almost 20 years ago... But I remember that I glued one side first, and after the other. Because the body was to narrow and didn't fit the front end shape.
Scalper
Thanks for the tip. Will try that on my firebirds front end.
