Repstock
Beautiful work Tom. I also want to build a Foto Mat diorama. For me the worst part was cutting out all those letters from .040 styrene. Once you get past that, it gets better.
clovis
Wow...Just WOW!!! Thank you for capturing some of the buildings of a bygone era. It is so common to see prewar buildings...but the Clark station and the Fotomat are creative and stunning!!! Are you a professional builder? Your work should be saved in the Smithsonian, not only because they capture a glimpse of past America, but because your work is simply stunning. Ever heard of the Henry O. Studley tool chest? Your work is on par with that, even though it is a different genre.
Repstock
That is great! I completely forgot about these things until I saw your post. Nice Monte Carlo by the way. Where did you source the correct hub caps for it? I scratch built those. All I remember is starting with a 1973 ElDorado wheel cover. I don't remember what I did from there. Chuck Most
I like dioramas, '70's cars, and brunettes in halter tops... so do I have to tell you how cool I think this is? Awesome work!

BirdWatcher
Spectacular work! I've dropped off and picked up quite a few rolls at the old one down here, it's been a psychic booth and now it's a cigarette shop. Brought back some great memories. Thanks for sharing! Foxer
Pretty cool. You know, if you want to get a print of your digital images from a photo finisher it will be rare if it's NOT on Kodak paper! They're still alive ...
David G.
Fantastic work! The only thing missing is glowing brake lights on the car. I seem to remember that nobody put their cars in park when the stopped at one of these places. They just sat there with their foot on the brake. David G.
