  1. My new truck has an Eaton 10spd auto shift in it. Most of the time I don't mind it, if it goes stupid I just put it manual mode and shift it myself. Only thing horrible about them is even though it's an automated manual, backing up is nearly impossible to do smoothly if it has any uphill at all. You just look like a rookie trying to back it up into an uphill dock without that clutch pedal. Though I did love it yesterday sitting in traffic on the cross bronx and gw bridge not have to shift a thousand times.
  2. Would love to take that on my route around northern jersey. That skirting wouldn't last a trip and have fun backing it in with almost no gap between the trailer and cab. Guess it would work great for all those drivers that get to go to wide open distribution centers.
  3. My month old Freightliner Cascadia Evo. I pretty much haul air/ocean freight from Pittsburgh to PHL/EWR and back 3 times a week. So if you see a white cascadia going by you at 72mph on the pa turnpike, good chance it's me.
  4. My new truck finally showed up. It's so nice to finally drive a brand new truck and not someone's old beater that was abused and smoked in. Even better it's a detroit powered freightliner and not another unreliable cummins powered volvo. Wasn't sure about the tighter gap between the fairings and trailer, but it's surviving Jersey so far. It's no Peterbilt, but then again I'd quit before I'd have to drive a largecar around the metro NYC area.
  5. my 2009 nissan cube i love it because everyone hates it
  6. my hand me down breaks down weekly 2011 Volvo with it's gutless 400hp cummins and autoshift, with my companies' awesome homemade deer bar and weight saving bumper corner, sideskirt, and fairing delete package. hopefully my upcoming cascadia with a dd15 will be better.
  7. my wife banned me from hobbylobby until I finally finished something. she said something about how I'm supposed to build them and not just collect them.
  8. the wipers are painted, but I now see I completely missed the hood latch and and ford emblem on the hood. All the decals came with the kit except the green flames, I'm thinking '64 Chevy pickup for those.
  9. I somehow got myself a weekend off from driving and finished something.
  10. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/20/2013-fiat-strada-first-drive-review/ should be a fiat strada under all of that. I'd get one, nice to have a small pickup for sale again in the US.
  11. Here's how we transport helicopters. Two trailers and everything crated up or on an aircraft pallet ready to be loaded on a plane.
  12. I haul air freight from Pittsburgh to JFK, Newark, Philly, Chicago, and Dulles Airports. It's pretty interesting getting to haul just about anything using all different kinds of trailers.
