  1. I have been observing this kit for quite some time and in most images I see, the bottom halve appears flush or even wider than the top. Your looks narrower at the bottom. Most people are not seperating the floorboards from the fenders so maybe that is the cause. Either way, your method looks superior to the way revell intended it to be built.
  2. May I ask why the two halfs dont line up horizontallly? Do you chop the bottom half to make it narrower, or is that how its designed? In most pictures I've seen of this kit, the two halfs look like they seat fairly flush horizontally.
  3. Thanks. The decals were old and did not work well. If I find 1:25 scale decals in the future, I might add them.
  4. Thanks. Painted wheels and hub-caps and particially assembled it to see how it sits and I am happy with it. Almost at the finish line.
  5. Got it polished today. Going to buy some canopy glue for the glass tomorow. Decided on fireball steel wheels and hubcaps. Anybody know how well they fit the amt tire packs?
  6. I know that on gunmetel satellites and chargers , the seat covers and the top half of the door-cards are gunmetal, everything else is black
  7. Another option would be to apply a glossy black, then apply alclad chrome or polished aluminum, but spray at a angle almost paralel to the surface, it will catch the high points and then fade out into the recessed areas. This is what I do in these situations.
  8. Have you thought about grinding down the back-side until the recesses are gone. Jeff
  9. Thanks, I believe its a mix of valejo silver and valejo blue
  10. Wrapped up some projects around the house so can now start alocating more time to my projects. Buffed out the front bonnet just to see finally the color. Interior mostly finished, scratch-built the window cranks and other hardware to give some depth. Dash-board still needs a lil work.
  11. Made from pieces of square evergreen.
  12. Only project I managed to complete this year. Many modifications. Made a scoop-less bonnet, scratch built some wiper arms, turned the bucket seats into a bench seat, and modified the door cards.
  13. Cut the floor-boards frm the "tub", glued the transmission tunnel to the bottom plate and built it up from there with scrap plastic and fillers. Struggling thru the foiling now. Last two sheets I bought are cracking but will need to just accept it and move forward. Ordering rally wheels and hub-caps from fireball.
  14. It looks great but they should've molded a lip at least around the windscreen openings. Would need to glue the windshield in like a butt joint.
