1978 Ford F100

The pickup box came from Ron andrews (RMR) i did the master years ago still have afew of them boxes left , the topper is also resin from a company not around any more and hasnt been for 8 years..........sorry cant help ya there, but it did come in one of the issues of 70s ford trucks AMT........

I don't think you'll get an answer from MJ, Leif, he hasn't been on here in almost 6 years.

Yes, old thread, but interesting, build shows how much better, IMO, the standard wheelbase bed looks. The stretch wheelbase F 350 bed was probably used on less than 10% of '73-'79's pickups, yet the geniuses at AMT used it. Probably not a good business decision.  Oh, well, more opportunities for the aftermarket $$$$.
