  1. i have been told by more then one source that it is reaaly best to try and use HOK thinner. Myself, i have had mixed results. I can use my acrylic laquer thinner for the pearls, but for some reason, it will not work on my candies. I am thinking that the candies might be a different formula (eurothane). When i try to use it on the candies, it seperates like oil & water. Strange...
  2. the guy i work for in the evenings was real close to Boyd, and from what i got from him, Boyd had a "tummy tuck" a few years ago after loosing a bunch of weight. Apperently, Boyd passed away from the complications from the "tummy tuck". I am not sure if my boss is going to fly down for the funeral or not.
  3. I have a Badger spray booth, and it does fairly good with ventilating the fumes, but for insanity sake, i did but a plastic door mat style mat under and around my spray booth area, and i have had no issues to date.
  4. atleast my test subject needed clear coats. i might try another can to see if it needs clear.
  5. i have dabbled with it. It actually does go on in 1 coat, but i prefer a few light coats. This stuff does need clear, as both test subjects i tried came out semi-gloss at best.
