Paxton blower question...

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of using the Paxton blower from the old '57 Ford kit in conjunction with the small-block Ford/EFI setup from a Revell Deuce kit. The output fro the blower would go to the intake of the EFI setup in lieu of the hose and filter; they will be used for the blower intake. Would this be practical or would the boost blow up the EFI manifold? BTW, this will be used in the old '57 Ford. Thanks for any help, ideas or suggestions.

I believe that 1957 was the year that Ford offered the Paxton as an option on the 312 ! I'd imagine that there must be images of that setup online ...

Yes, and the AMT '57 Ford comes with it. He's putting the Paxton on a 302 / 5.0 smallblock (the '57 had a Y-block) Ford with EFI (electronic fuel injection), and putting that back in the AMT '57. He's wanting to know how to plumb the Paxton to the EFI. He's got it right.
