Chris guthro
Where did the 1/25 hood come from and cab?
fantacmet
Love the grill on there. It never even occurred to me to remove the engraved mesh, and replace it with something else. However I've done it on the cars, go figure.
KJ790
Where did the 1/25 hood come from and cab? The hood and cab are both 359 snap-kit pieces that I tried to modify into 379 pieces.

vincen47
Ya know KJ, I'd think there'd be a market for a 3406e/C15 conversion kit. Valve cover, timing cover, etc. to convert the old 3406 into a modern version "E". You could call it a yellow engine "E" upgrade kit. KJ790
Got the cab mounted with some of the chrome. Still need to finish up the fuel tanks, air cleaners, bumper, sun visor, mirrors, and a few other details. KJ790
I used fuel tanks from a Moebius lone star, as they are the perfect size for the 150 gallon Peterbilt fuel tanks. I sanded off the molded in straps and made my own out of styrene. I also added a "weld" where the real Peterbilt fuel tanks have a welded seam. I also added some scratch built air cleaners and bumper.
