  1. I can't believe no one here has mentioned yet the Mack Superliner from the movie FLATBED ANNIE AND SWEETIE PIE, LADY TRUCKERS!! Awesome Movie!! And Annie Potts is HOT! Should be easy enough to make with the Mack Superliner kit from Italeri
  2. These look excellent!! I really dig the mule train with the cheese blocks. Very nice work
  3. The Ford Y-Block 292CID was introduced in 1955 for Ford trucks. I would imagine this would have been available in the F-800 Edited to add - this was an overhead valve motor with valve covers
  4. I think that's probably your best choice. I look forward to some pics of this rig
  5. The original Signature 600 was released in 1998 I believe and the more common ISX Cummins 600 was introduced around the spring of 2000 I believe. The ISX replaced the N14 and tha original Signature 600 was sort of an interim engine that served as the prototype you might say of the ISX engine.
  6. I think Sour Kraut has a resin Series 60 Detroit Diesel and the Cummins N14 available. These should both be period correct and could be big horsepower for that time period as well. http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=5 Oh I guess Ben beat me to the post! LOL! The Signature 600 was not available in the early nineties
  7. Well I'll be...........I hadn't noticed that they were all right hand drive until you mentioned it. How peculiar. Supposedly they will be unveiling these trucks for the US market a little later this year.
  8. Thanks Dave, I was not aware of any of this until now. Saves me from having to look it up myself. I'm excited to get one in scale form. A little research on the web shows that Caterpillar will be releasing on the road trucks sometime in 2011 branded with the CAT name. Do you think this has anything to do with the Navistar partnership as well? Cat highway trucks, that will be interesting.
  9. Thank you Cowboysevens! I know I have never posted before, but I got to start somewhere. Chuckyr, I did start at the top of this thread and read every single post and could not find one response that stated what engine this was. I am not familar with this navistar engine, I knew it didn't look like any Cummins or Detroit that I have seen before. It does somewhat resemble a newer Caterpillar, but I wasn't sure if that was correct either because it's not Cat yellow. I'm excited to go research this 1:1 Navistar MaxxForce 15 now so I can learn more about it. This is a great looking kit of an exciting new truck!
