Hi, I'm starting a Ranger Pre-Runner Off Road truck and I'm looking for some wheels and tires for off-road that aren't huge. I have the Super Swampers but those are much to big for a desert pre-runner truck. I am specifically looking for the wheel and tire combo seen in the below pics I found online.....please let me know where I can find these.....thanks!

the wheels are Aoshima's Raguna's with what looks like Satco Bridgestone Desert Duelers on the spare, not sure what's on the rear axle

Ok great...do you know where I can find them? I google'd Aoshima Raguna and couldn't find anything. Also where is a good place to get the tires besides Ma's since he is 6 months out I hear.

Jason, I have a couple of sets of tires that I got from AMT promos. One set looks like they are close to the tread pattern of the tires in your photo, but the tread isn't near as deep. They're BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/As. They're about 31 inches tall. The tread width shoulder to shoulder is only seven inches and the sidewall width is nine and a half inches. The other set of tires are Firestone Radial ATXs with the same height, but eight inches on the tread width and just a touch over ten on the sidewalls. AMT also produced an S10 4X4 that has what looks to be wider and just a little taller than these two tires I described. I can't confirm that though as I don't have one of those. Check out ebay. You can usually pick those promos up really cheap. I got my Tahoe for five bucks plus seven for shipping. There is also the old MPC Desert Dog PCV Formulas that are thirty-one and a half inches tall with a ten inch tread width and twelve inch sidewall width. Hope this helps you out.

The original tires used on the Pre-Ranger are Goodyears from the Maisto diecasts (as seen on the rear axle). They were kind of small so I upgraded to the Satco/Aoshima Bridgestone Desert Duellers (shown on the spare). The wheels are from Aoshima, and came with the Superswamper tires parts packs.

I have not touched this model in four years, at least I recently started looking at the model car sites. Thanks for the comments.
