  1. Thanks for the replies people ❤️ I received my visor yesterday. I was bummed at first because it won’t fit with my glasses on but damn, I tried the 3.5x lens and hallelujah I can see!! The magnification is big and clear! $26 with a $3 coupon from Amazon. Best money I’ve spent in a long while!
  2. Wow lol looks futuristic compared to what I’ve been killing my eyes with. Thanks I’ll take a took at Amazon
  3. Seems the old eyeballs don’t see as well as they once did. Can someone recommend a good magnifying visor? I have one but it’s the older one. Looks like a skinny welding mask and it does nothing for my eyes. Anything would be better!
  4. Looks awesome “ my name is harry canyon. I drive a cab. “ ” hey you free?” ” Ya get in” ” where to pal” ” the UN building “ ” UN building what a joke. They turned it into low rent housing. “ ” ok sucker hand over your cash. Now!” zzzzzzzzzppppppp * screams in agonizing pain “ sigh “ stupid asshole, nobody touches harry canyon unless I want them to “ I was 13 when i saw that first time in 81. Never saw cartoon sex before that movie. lol I’ve watched it literally 1000s of times since. Owned it on every format it’s been released on. I know every single line. It’s my favourite movie ever. Excellent choice for a build 🤘
  5. That occurred to me a while ago. I’ll take a look when i get back home. If it doesn’t look any better I’ll warm it up with a hair dryer a little bit then let it cool off. See how it looks after the chassis is removed.
  6. Is this warped? There’s a slight curve as you can see but I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be edit; here is a slightly better picture
  7. So I've been out of building for a few years. I just found out that Testors has discontinued ther Metalizers! Thats so stupid. Anyway, is there an alternative to the Metalizers? Aside from Alclad that is. Mike
  8. Thats just wicked. Your builds never cease to impress. Question though. You don't have to answer but I've been dying to know for years. When it's all completed, how much money have you spent on the aluminum and after market details.
  9. It didnt come tearing out of there, but i probably would have lost it had i not used the bag.
  10. Sound silly but hell I'm gonna do it anyway! Thanks! I'll let ya know how it works out!
  11. My plunger has jammed. I haven't used it in a few years. So i'm going to disassemble it and clean it out. Maybe use a little needle juice on it. The question I have for anyone who's done this before is this. Part A-23A is holding back a spring. Is there so much tension on this little thing that it'll go shooting across the room? I'm a little hesitant because of this. lol I haven't touched anything model related ina few years, so i'm a little gun shy i guess Mike
  12. None of this work is mine. I didn't create anything within the Tutorials and Diagrams folders. I accumulated these over the years via Google Image Searches. The Brians Model Cars content I got from the BMC Forum , posted by B to keep the content available. Diagrams Tutorials Enjoy. --- Mike
