Evilbenny
This is one of my most recent builds. It's an MPC Monte Carlo. This was in my opinion, not a very good model. The body was warped, covered in flash and not very detailed. I glued down the hood because there isn't much detail to show. I did have fun building it and that's all that matters. I built it to represent a car that has been stolen a few times and abused. It has a busted steering colum, missing stereo and speakers. Sixties Sam
I like it! Warped bodies are really hard to work with. Looks like you did a good job on this one! Sam

ironhyde2483
Boil some water and put body in it for few min pull it out you can fix the warp bud........very nice though I am looking for 78 79 MC to relive my bros street strip car
Erik Smith
Looks good. Nice work weathering. A warped body is the least of the problems with that kit - big blob for a chassis that doesn't fit (and is usually warped too), crummy engine bay... spkgibson
Boil some water and put body in it for few min pull it out you can fix the warp bud........very nice though I am looking for 78 79 MC to relive my bros street strip car try Model Empire.....They have the 78' and 79' promos fairly cheap...You could cut the hood out of the promo body and kit bash it with this kit to make a full detailed kit..The hood and everything from this kit WILL work ....That way you dont have to worry about the gap left from cutting the hood out of the promo body......Nice work on the Monte Carlo...It turned out great! MAGNUM4342
VERY realistic weathering. I think it's the subtlety of the weathering that makes it work. Almost get the feel you could start it up and drive it to autozone! Edited February 16, 2013 by MAGNUM4342
TFchronos
You did a really great job with this kit, the weathering is fantastic.
Captain Obvious
VERY realistic weathering. I think it's the subtlety of the weathering that makes it work. Almost get the feel you could start it up and drive it to autozone! Provided you could keep it running long enough to get there...lol Very cool build! Dr. Cranky
Looks like my kind of daily driver. Good work.
geetee66
Looks like you turned a sow's ear into a silk purse! Sometimes it's overcoming the kit's failings that makes it more rewarding. I like the story behind the build. Misssing stereo spaeakers and a messed-up steering column give it a more realistic feel. Nice job
