Chromecop
I needed a break from my longtime-project, Mercedes Benz Wrecker, so I looked into my pile of kits and found this old Fury. It needed a little TLC as you can see.... (sorry about that big first picture) So, with a new #11 and some dremeling along with a major parts inventory here's what it looks like right now..... Now... Q is, should I let the roof remain stock or should I chop it? Or, should I go all the way and make it a Starbird-inspired Bubble-top Custom??? I still haven't decided on the grille-treatment, but I guess a pretty simple ribbed grille would look decent, right? And...maybe repeat that theme for the rear? Any input welcome! Chromecop
I've finally decided on making this one into a "starbird-inspired" Bubbletop-custom. I've also extended the fins a little. Edited October 25, 2008 by Chromecop
Eshaver
Leave the top alone and go with what you pictured already. Ed Shaver
Chromecop
Leave the top alone and go with what you pictured already. Ed Shaver Very sorry to disappoint You Ed, but the stock roof is already long gone!!!! I'm a big fan of Darryl Starbird and his bubbletop-customs, so I'll stick to that theme. BTW I'm doing a '62 Chrysler 300 that way as well..... Edited October 25, 2008 by Chromecop
