  1. box stock?? what is that? hard to wrap my mind around that one. do you mean you build it from the parts that you have in boxes? surely you can't mean the parts in just one box. hmmmm gonna have to think about this for a while. may even try that one day. BTW the vette is looking good steve.
  2. it's looking great keep up the good work.
  3. looks good. I really like the mailbox scoop. can't wait to see it finished.
  4. I also would like to buy some parts for bikes. I don't know if it would help but I have quite a few die cast bikes that I salvaged from a house fire. our house burned to the ground about a year ago and I had many bikes, they arn't worth putting on the shelf anymore but if you could use the parts to cast new ones you would be welcome to them. just let me know.
  5. Steve, hello my name is Bob and I will be in atlanta this year. I won't be entering anything, just going to enjoy the show and buy as much stuff as the wife will allow. I would not bring anything like glue or paint on the plane. with all the new security I think I would only bring built up kits and try to pack them in a manner that will be easy for security to look at to try to reduce any broken parts. If you need anything (paint-glue) or anything that may cause you airport problems e-mail me and I will try to bring whatever you need as I will be driving in from Knoxville. I'm not hard to find in a crowd 6'1" long haired tattoo coverd freak. we will see you there have a safe trip. just let me know if I can help.
  6. i wasn't going to use a body. I just wanted to see if I could build a frame that looked real. also practice for future lowrider projects. looking through some of my sons mini trucking mags I see alot of rolling frame setups at car shows. Beleve me it has become almost as much work as a full model. I hope to make it all work. It would almost be hard to put a body on after all the fab work up to this point. I have no clue what I will do with the rear end but I'll figure something out. I will post more pics when I get the a-arms and spindles done. thanks for looking and as allways sugestions welcome.
  7. love the camaro looks great, but the nova is the one for me. I really like your building style. great work keep it up.
  8. heres a few pics of a frame I am building. I just needed something to do while I am waiting for the paint on my silverado to cure. I have seen some very nice ones posted here and wanted to see if I could build anything as nice. Please tell me what you think. any sugestions welcome. thank you for looking........Bob BTW the a-arms work I just havent figured out spindels yet.
  9. nice build that is comming along nicely. keep us updated as work progresses.
  10. wow you have some nice stuff!!! how much time do you put into an average model? looks like you have been in the hobby for some time, you have some outstanding models. I hope to be that good someday.
  11. I agree tamiya kits are often nice and exspensive. sorry you didn't enjoy it more but you did a super job with it. Anyone would be proud to have that on a shelf at home. p.s. can i have it? PLEASE!!!!!
  12. good job s-10. do you have a gallery somewhere? I would like to see some of your other stuff.
